A very good week I think. We got a whole team here, we clarified what needs to be done and nobody boarded a plane back home 
As for myself, it seems I need to move from planning stage to design stage while keeping the planning rolling. Not surprisingly, but challenging-ly. And, to stay sane, Mt. Lavinia is the destination for Sunday.

I need to start reading and packing…
It has started with the phone call I made after coming back from the Easter holiday in Poland. Before I left there were some discussions about me maybe going to Asia to support one of the senior consultants in running customer workshops. There was a general agreement that it would be good for the customer, for me (gaining experience) and for the project (additional pair of hands – there is never enough). Someone mentioned end of May as a departure date and I didn’t follow up to check. I was on holiday mentally, I guess…
I came back and made that follow up-check call to find out that I need to depart at the end of April. Exciting, huh? I set off to get all the formalities sorted out. That included filling out thousands of forms (and I bet there is anther thousand to come!), getting vaccinations (made me feel dizzy and gave me headache the day after. The day after was also a day when I went hiking. Oh joy!), getting a visa… That last task was a bit of a challenge as I had to go to Berlin to get it done in one day. Sending passport wouldn’t work as than the whole procedure would take two weeks. Whereas me coming in person shortened the procedure to half an hour. No, I do not understand it either… So I set off on the “mission Berlin”, spent 13 hours, out of 24, on a train and got the visa.
Now I just need to get up to speed with the stage of the project, figure out what to pack and get few things out of the way before leaving. FOR A MONTH! I think the news still haven’t quite sunk in
